Okay, gotta make this fairly quick because I have to get to bed so I can be at work at 7am. Ack. But I have some news I have to get in here. :)
After talking to Misty on the phone last night--that instantaenous 4-hour conversation--I saw her online and we talked for another few hours. (We're bad that way. :) We decided we both wanted to meet up in person soon, of course, and initially arranged to get together Sunday, as I'm off that day and she was going back home for a day or two. But neither of us really wanted to wait quite that long, so then we arranged to meet for a quick lunch today since I was working at the 100 Oaks store for the first half of my shift and wouldn't be able to make it home for lunch as I usually do. So we agreed to meet at Wendy's near my work at 4:30.
I left that store at 4:00, and figured I'd have plenty of time to make it--probably be early, in fact. But traffic was picking up, and then I couldn't find Wendy's (becase I'd never been to that one!), and then when I finally found it I blew right by it and got suckered onto the interstate with no option but to go to the next exit and double back. (I despise, by the way, the people who designed the streets in this city!) But I made it around 4:40--as I came up the exit, I saw her outside and knew it was her, and even from a distance I could tell she was even more attractive than the impression I had from her pictures. She was outside because apparently she was beginning to wonder if there was another Wendy's in the vicinity that I was waiting at! :) But she recognized me (my truck, more likely!) and that was that. We hugged, and then went in and had a quick bite and chat before I had to get over to my store.
Initial impressions.. well, I knew I liked her personality, of course, and that was no different. But I was very happy to see her, as I do prefer to be able to see the person I'm talking to. :) And she wasn't at all difficult on my eyes, so that was especially wonderful. :) Her eyes are a beautiful blue--I'd thought they were brown from her pictures, but that never comes across properly. And perhaps even more wonderful, I got a quick e-mail from her this evening that said she thought I was even more cute than my pictures suggested.. so she likes me too, maybe! :)
And that's a big whoo-hoo. :)
