In a stark warning, the FBI said Thursday it has received information there may be additional terrorist attacks inside the United States or abroad in the next several days.

Hm. A little more info would be helpful, to be sure, but I don't think the rest is a surprise. Let's face it, people--bad as it was, September 11 was surely not the only day or way the terrorists had in mind to hit us. More sucker punches are surely on the way.. I'd say all we can hope is to avert as many as possible, minimize others, and hope that none are as bad, in planning or execution, as the events of Black Tuesday.

And hug the folks you love as much as you can. Just in case.

Not sure what to think of this. An LJ community dedicated to reviewing other peoples' LJ's, apparently upon submission. Now, we've discussed over and over about the vagaries and idiosyncracies of maintaining an online journal, and the oftentimes blurry line between the privacy implied by journalling and the voyeuristic/exhibitionist aspects of having said private journal be accessible to anyone and everyone. But when you go submit your journal to be reviewed, ferchrissake, aren't you answering the question of whether you're keeping your LJ more for your own benefit, or because you like having your laundry gone through by strangers and friends? I dunno, it's an interesting kettle of fish.

Now some of you go get reviewed so I can see what they say. :)
