The girls.
Feb. 5th, 2008 09:15 amFigured I should post a couple pics of the girls, since they're growing so fast.
Hallie's already almost 6 months old!
This is a shot I can use to blackmail her later in life, obviously. :) She's sitting up, threatening to crawl any day now, and extremely interested in her surroundings. She's also quite a grabber, and of course whatever she grabs goes straight to her mouth. And 'drool factory' doesn't even begin to describe the situation there.
And Hermione, 3 years and 3 months, almost.
She's quite a character, and of course whip-smart. It's fun to eavesdrop on her playing with her toys and making them talk to each other. She comes up with some interesting stuff! She loves doing crafts, and lately she's really started to like helping us in the kitchen, either cooking or cleaning up. Actually, whatever we do she wants to "help", which is usually not very helpful but she does mean well! She took her first shower the other day (all baths up until now, of course) and seemed to enjoy it. I really hope she'll take to swimming once the weather warms up this year.
Of course, as I say that we're gearing up for record high temperatures today. 85F in the middle of winter, what kind of crap is this? Ah well, at least it makes for good scootering weather!
Okay, better get back to work; it's been a madhouse around here all year so far. Hope everyone is having a lovely day.
