Well, the stripper eats into the paint and varnish, all the way down to the bare wood--then you just scrape all the goop off. Then a little steel wool dipped in turpentine gets off the rest of the residue. It's actually pretty fun! It's certainly rewarding to see how pretty this stuff is under all the crappy paint, anyway!
