Always bring the camera!

kv0925Yeah, that's my big lesson from this trip so far. I should always bring the camera, even if it's just with my little 40mm pancake lens attached. On the flight out of Orlando we took off to the south, and when we looped around to the north we passed right over EPCOT, the Magic Kingdom, and the Mickey forest! Woulda made for some neat photos. Then here in the Indianapolis airport there was an Indy racecar and an awesome old 1930s Essex Terraplane sedan. Oh, and in the Birmingham airport there was a cool old motorcycle. And who knows, maybe I'll have a little time to roam around in the morning before we go to the office. Perhaps a quick climb up the Soldiers and Sailors Monument? No, doesn't open until 10:30am. Still worth a walk to visit!
So anyway, the lesson is to always bring the camera! Oh, and don't leave my tablet PC on the plane. Oops. Hopefully some good samaritan will turn it in, or leave it in the seat pocket for the crew to find. I submitted a lost & found request, so maybe I'll get it back. Luckily it wasn't that expensive, but I'll definitely need to replace it before my next trips if it's lost for good! The wife's not gonna like that.
Okay, better turn in. Long day!
