It was a great time, thanks for the kind words! Have you ever been to Minnehaha Falls? I would have to say apart from the overwhelming awesomeness of Tallulah Gorge, Minnehaha may have been the highlight for me. It was such a nice (and nicely short) trail to a serene and gorgeous little spot, and since it's tucked away down a long residential road it definitely seemed to be a road less traveled, which we much prefer. Anna Ruby Falls was also amazing, though also rather more populated. :)
Ha, that would be neat if we were so close! I should really be better about arranging meetups with LJ friends when I'm passing through their area, but on trips like this I never really know exactly where we'll be and when, you know? I think the wife was impressed enough with the ATL to go back there specifically sometime, especially since it's not too long a drive--we'll have to connect when that happens!
