Hi!

Yeah. Nothing much going on today. Yesterday I worked, and then I came home for a while and then went out to the Pat McGee Band concert. Very nice. :) They rock a lot. The place was a little too crowded with idiots for my taste, but it was a good show nonetheless. Got out right before 1am, and then came right home and went to bed shortly thereafter. Slept until almost 11, though, which is goofy for me! And when I woke up I hoped to have the apartment to myself all day, of course, but Shawna is getting a new job so she called in to her current one and has been home all day. Dammit. Ah well, not like I had any plans for today or any such thing, but you know, it's nice to just be alone and free. :)

Anyway, now.. I dunno what. MarySue should be home in a half hour or so, and I'm kinda hoping we'll all go out to dinner. Even if I have to buy. :) I'm hungry and feel like a real food experience somewhere. Mmm, Calhoun's. Yeah.

Got a quick e-mail from Misty today.. she seems to be having a good time in Cleveland, though they aren't really doing a whole lot. Mainly she just wanted to see Erin and catch up, and plan for their new apartment. :) That will be cool--I'm excited for her. It's good for sleepovers, too, if things keep up that way! :) I miss her, though. Not that I'd have seen her since Wednesday if she was here, probably, but still.. seems different when you know you *can't* see someone, you know? Anyway.

Okay, I think that's all. Find me a little snackage, maybe, before MS gets home. :) Bye now!

A guy came into work yesterday. he was scary. One of those short guys who lift weights so they're squat, know what I mean? He was an ex-Marine. I was shocked. :) But the thing that bothered me was that he had a HUGE mouthful of chewing tobacco (chaw, if you will), and a plastic cup with a gigantic wad of that crap that he'd occasionally spit into. Okay, now.. who doesn't think this is a disgusting habit? Beyond disgusting? Shudder.

And, on a lighter note, from my favorite source of fake news, The Onion:

Giant Blood Clot Dislodges From Your Femoral Artery
YOUR CIRCULATORY SYSTEM-- According to lower-extremity sources, a blood clot two to three times larger than necessary to cause a heart attack has broken loose from your femoral artery and is migrating up your leg at this very moment. "In light of the size of this clot," your doctor said, "calling 911 would only waste city resources." Your doctor recommended that you lie down near the front door so the coroner's office can more easily remove your body from your home.

Heh heh.
