Blah.

It's an okay day at work, I guess.. it just got a bit stressful because our speech-recognition system is down, so we're getting more calls than we should, and it's killing us because we also have a lot of people in training. Crapola.

I learned something yesterday. I took one and only one typing class in my life, and that was in the 7th or 8th grade. Most of what I learned as far as touch-typing went right out the window, as I've always done well with a modified-yet-highly-efficient hunt-and-peck method. :) But I did take some things to heart, like spacing twice after a period. I still do that, even though in html (like here on LJ!) two spaces are compressed to one anyway. And yesterday I read that in today's world of proportionally-speced fonts, the word-processing/publishing industry has also gone to one space after a period. Ah well, I'll still enter two spaces because I've been doing it for so damn long. :)

Got my new lens yesterday! Since many/most of you probably could care less, I'll put my first thoughts behind a cut... ( Clicky? )

Okay, better get back to work. Or have lunch, maybe. :)

I totally just looked out my window and saw Air Force One flying by, heading to the airport. The President is a horrible goober, as we all know, but that was still kinda cool. :)
